Who
We Are
Faith Riders is a ministry to
Motorcyclist headquartered in Lakeland, Florida. The local chapter is
sponsored by the Temple Baptist Church of Franklin, Indiana. The
membership of the local chapter is made up of men and woman,
representing three churches at this time. While we are not a
non-denominational organization, membership is open to all Bible
believing Christians and churches who are interested in motorcycling
and reaching the motorcycling community for Christ.
Our goal is to reach the lost of
Franklin and Johnson County, Indiana through motorcycle events and
activities. We also seek to disciple participating motorcyclist in
their Christian walk and help them share their faith with others.
What
We Do
Faith Riders will plan and carry
out motorcycle rides, events, and activities to reach out to the
motorcycle community and to have fun together in the Lord. We will
also participate in activities of the churches of the membership,
when invited. At times we may ride together in secular rides to build
relationships with other riders and share our faith on the road.
Participation with other Faith Riders chapters and other Christian
motorcycle groups in events will likely be done. Basically, we will
do what the membership decides we want to do, but our goal will
always be to glorify Christ.
What
We Believe
Our chapter believes there is only
one God, who reveals Himself in the form of the Father, the Son, and
the Holy Spirit. We believe that the only way to God is through the
blood of Jesus Christ, who died that all people could be saved. We
believe in being Born Again through His blood. We believe that the
Bible is God's message to humanity, that it contains His truth
without error or fault, that it is the final authority, is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness.
How
To Join Faith Riders
Anyone can be a part of Faith
Riders. It's meetings and events are open to all. To be a patch
wearing chapter member, you must be a Bible believing Christian and a
member of a Bible believing church. There is no limitation concerning
the type of bike you ride, all are welcome. Even if you don't ride,
you can be a part of Faith Riders.
To join, come to one of our
monthly meetings. If you have a question or want more information,
